(Rev.0) Visual inspection acceptance criteria for welded piping spools

In ASME B31.3, the acceptance criteria for visual inspection of welded piping spools can be found in several sections, including:

Section 328: Examination and Testing During Construction, which provides requirements for the visual examination of welds and the acceptance criteria for surface discontinuities.

Section 341: Examination and Testing After Welding, which includes guidelines for visual inspection of completed welds and criteria for acceptance or rejection.

Section 341.5: Acceptance Criteria for Welds, which specifies the acceptance criteria for various types of weld discontinuities based on their size, shape, and location.

Additionally, other standards such as AWS D1.1 (Structural Welding Code - Steel) and API 1104 (Welding of Pipelines and Related Facilities) may also be referenced for visual inspection acceptance criteria for specific applications.
