EN 10204 vs ISO 10474

Both standards are almost same. This page does not provide the detail description. But, we can find the good descriptions in Google search about the scope and the definition of each type. Instead of the detail description, you can see the actual sample documents in this page.


EN 10204:2004 (Metallic Products - Types of Inspection Documents) 

BS EN 10204:2004 Metallic Products: Types of Inspection Documents
DIN EN 10204:2005 Metallic Products - Types Of Inspection Documents
  • Declaration of compliance with the order "2.1"
  • Test Report "type 2.2"
  • Inspection Certificate "type 3.1"
  • Inspection Certificate "type 3.2"

(But, According to EN 10204:2004, Para. 1.2 , the above certificates can be issued for the non metallic products.)


ISO 10474:2013 (Steel and steel products - Inspection documents)

  • Declaration of compliance with the order "2.1"
  • Test Report "2.2"
  • Inspection Certificate 3.1
  • Inspection Certificate 3.2


Interpretation

2.1 - Declaration Letter or Certificate of Conformity (CofC)

2.2 - Test Report without Inspection
